Research

Multibody dynamics has been abundantly exploited within scientific projects in our laboratory, as a tool to analyze and improve the kinematic and/or dynamic behavior of specific applications (vehicles, robots, mechnaisms, human body, etc.).

Beside applications, researches are still carried out in the field of multibody formulation, symbolic generation and computer implementation, namely: efficient recursive formulation, symbolic sensitivity analysis, multibody system parameters optimization, coupling with granular modeling formulations and CFD models, overactuated systems, real time simulation for haptic applications and numerical twins, etc.

See below a non-exhaustive list of recent research projects.
