Hello!

What are the optimisation methods for optimize the segment lengths of my multibody system. I want to find the optimal length. I see that the Nelder-Mead can be use but I ignore how it works. For initial design, I have 1 or 2 or 3 joints between 2 segments and have alreqy the value q, now for optimization I read somewhere that i must put 6 dof between 2 segments. what value must I give to additionnal joints now? q=?

ust forgot to mention that I want to find the optimal lengths whose minimize the power (P=Q.qd).
